Last Update a month ago
Learn how to configure custom size ranges for your product styles and assign them to specific categories. This guide covers the end-to-end process of creating, updating, and managing your size inventory within the platform.
Size ranges in Vestis Labs serve as the foundation for assigning sizes to your styles and building complete size charts. By defining size ranges—such as XS–XL, 0–14, or other custom sets—you create the structure that determines which sizes can be applied to each style and how measurements will be organised during specification development.

- Click 'New' to create a size range - a Size Range Page will show up.

Complete the basic information below:

- Cilck the 'trash' icon to delete selected size chart

- Click the 'save' icon to finish

Update Size range
The created size ranges will be displayed and can be managed on the Size Range Settings Page. This page stores all information related to the size ranges configured in the Size Range Settings section.
- To change the size ranges - Click on the 'Edit' to set the size ranges to edit mode

- The page will be in edit mode

Switch the toggle 'Default size range' ON/OFF. This size range will be used by default. Only one size range can be the default, or you can leave none selected.
Note: Only one size range can be the default. If all are off, no default will be used.

The default size range can be managed on the page list.

Add the sizes in this range. Drag to reorder them.

- Click 'Save Changes' to update the size range.

- Select the 'delete' to remove the selected size ranges from Vestis Labs.

Category Assignment
- Open the action menu and select 'Assign Categories'.

Pick the categories that should use this size range. A category can only map to one size range — assigning a category here replaces any existing mapping.
- Choose categories from the dropdown. Multiple categories can be selected.

- Click (X) to delete the selected category.

- Click "Save" to finish.

Delete the size range
Delete the size range by selecting 'Delete' from the menu and confirming in the section.

Click "Delete" to remove it permanently.

If this size range is used in one or more styles, it cannot be permanently deleted while still in use. The system will automatically keep it in the Archive.

If this size range is used as the default, it cannot be deleted. Assign a different size range before deleting.
