How to Create a Digital Measurement Library on Vestis Labs

Digital Measurements Library is a page that will enable users to Create Product Information (Product Measurements), Users can manage all created Digital Measurements Library through this page.

To access the Measurement Library, select Library > Measurements from the left bar menu to view the full Product Measurements Library or create a new product Measurements.

  • Select +New in the upper-right corner to create a new product measurement.
  • Enter the required Measurement Card name.


There are 2 ways to enter the Standard Size Field.
1) by selecting the pre-defined size range set in Settings > Size Range.

Click the dropdown on Select Standard Size:

  • Choose from predefined size ranges under From Settings



    2) by choosing a custom size range to customise the size range.

    • Select the "Custom" tab to choose sizes manually.
    • Check the sizes you want to include (e.g., XS, M, S). Selected sizes will appear as tags at the top of the panel (e.g., M, S, XS).



        Note: You can search for a specific size using the "Search size..." input at the top of the dropdown.

              To add a custom size, type the size you want to create and click "+Add ..".

              By typing the size, you automatically activate the search function within the dropdown, so there won't be duplicates.

            • To remove an unwanted size from the list, click the trash icon next to that size in the dropdown.

              • Click the "Measurement Unit" dropdown to see available unit options: cm, inches, m, mm.

              To edit or delete a unit from the list, click the three-dot (⋯) menu next to any unit and choose "Edit" or "Delete".

              • Click the "Measurement Type" dropdown on the right side of the form.
              • Select the appropriate type from the list (e.g., 1st Fit, Final Spec, Porto, Sample).
              • Click the "Set Sample Size" dropdown. The available sizes will match the standard sizes you selected.
              • Choose the sample size to use as reference (e.g., XS). The selected size tab in the measurements table will be highlighted in red/orange.


                Note: Optionally, select a Grading Rule template if available (e.g., a previously saved grading rule will appear in the dropdown).

                    • Optionally select a Grading Rule template.
                    • Users can upload a picture to represent the style. In the image area below the form, click "Drag & drop an image here, or click to select an image".
                    Image Spesification:
                    • The files that are allowed are .jpeg, .jpg, .png, and .gif.
                    • The maximum size is 3.1 MB.

                    Users can view the product images in an expanded size, so you can see those details using the Magnifier Icon on the top right of the image to zoom in or zoom out on the attachment file.

                    Users can rearrange the table columns by dragging and dropping the column names, making it easier to customize the measurement table layout.

                    In the Measurements Table, click the "+" button to add a new measurement row.

                    Click the pin icon (☆) in the PIN column. A tooltip "Pin this row" will appear. Click it to activate pinning mode on the product image.

                    On the product image, click and drag to draw a measurement line (shown as a dotted line). This visually marks where the measurement is taken on the garment.

                    Nb: You can change the selected point of measurement by selecting unpin on the upper right corner of the attachment.

                    In the REF column, the row is auto-labeled (e.g., "A"). Click the POM field and type a descriptive name (e.g., "Chest").

                    Once the sample size has been selected, the sample size column is highlighted. Enter the size measurement in the set sample size column.

                    Grading: enter the Grading Size of the measurement. The other Standard Size will be calculated automatically.

                    Tolerance: enter the Tolerance size of the measurement. It Defines what deviation is acceptable for each point of measure

                    Nb: Users can assign multiple measurements through the add measurement page.

                    To add more columns or manage table settings, click the "+" button at the far right of the table header row.

                    A dropdown menu will appear with the following options:
                    1. Manage Grading Columns – Add or edit grading increment columns.
                    2. Select Standard Size – Change or add size columns to the table.
                    3. Manage Difference Columns – Add columns to track differences between sizes.
                    4. Add Comment – Attach a comment to the measurement row.
                    Manage Grading Columns

                    Click "+ Add Grading Column". 

                    A new entry form will appear with two fields:
                    • Column Name – Enter the label for the new column (e.g., "L").
                    • Position – Auto-assigned based on existing columns (e.g., 3, 4). This controls the column order.


                      To add another column, click "+ Add Grading Column" again. A second form will appear with the next position number.

                      To remove a grading column entry before saving, click the red trash icon next to that column's form.

                      check "Save for all measurement tables within this measurement card" to apply these columns globally across all tables in the card.

                      Click "Save Changes" to confirm. The new column will appear in the measurements table header.

                      Enter the measurement value for the new column in the corresponding row

                       
                      Manage Difference Columns
                      Click the "+" button at the far right of the table header.
                      From the dropdown menu, select "Manage Difference Columns". 
                      Click the "+" button inside the dialog to add a new difference column entry. Two dropdown fields will appear: Target and Real.
                      Click the "Target" dropdown and select the size column to use as the baseline (e.g., L, M, S, XS).

                      Click the "Real" dropdown and select the size column to compare against (e.g., XS if Target is L).

                      Note: The difference column will be named automatically based on your selections (e.g., "DIFFERENCE L-XS").

                      Optionally, check "Save for all measurement tables within this measurement card" to apply this difference column across all tables in the card.

                      Click "Close" to dismiss the dialog. The "DIFFERENCE L-XS" column will remain visible in the table header, highlighted in yellow.

                      The difference is calculated immediately and displayed in the table. Positive values appear in orange/red to indicate variance.
                      Add a Comment

                      Click the "+" button at the far right of the table header row. From the dropdown, select "Add Comment". A new "COMMENT" column will appear in the table.

                      Click inside the Comment field on the relevant row and type your comment text 

                      To edit or delete a measurement row, click the three-dot (⋯) and choose "Delete".
                      From the dropdown, select "Delete Comment". The comment column will be removed from the table.
                      Click the Columns button at the top-right of the Measurements Table to open the Manage Columns.
                      Under the Current Selection tab, check or uncheck individual columns (Pin, Ref, POM, Tolerance, Grading, XS, S, M, L, Difference, etc.) to show or hide them for your current view.
                      To restore the original setup, click Reset to Default.
                      Switch to the Default Columns tab to configure which columns are visible by default for all new users in your organization. Check or uncheck the desired columns, then save.
                      Click the + button below the last row in the Measurements Table to insert a new measurement entry.
                      Scroll below the measurements table to find the Note text editor. Click inside the editor and start writing a free-form note for this measurement card. Formatting options (lists, bold, italic) are available in the toolbar.
                      Click the Save button (bottom-right of the page) to persist all changes — including table data, comments, column settings, and notes.
